9 February, 2012 - Mongolian National Chamber of Commerce and Industry /MNCCI/ presented 2012 SILK ROAD AWARDS NOMINATIONS and UNDP Mongolia awarded by "Silk Road 2012" as the most valuable contributor in poverty reduction and sustainable livelihood development in Mongolia through all projects and programmes.

MNCCI initiated and created the Silk Road annual award in 2007 to recognize effort of foreign investors, joint ventures, enterprises, diplomatic missions, international organizations, donor projects, and other forms of business partnership, have also played significant roles in contributing towards Mongolia’s development. MNCCI hold the Silk Road Awards once in two years. Also this event has Mongolian traditional entertainment to introduce and promote Mongolian culture and Tsagaan Sar to the foreigners living in Mongolia.
